This Privacy Policy describes how Axion SSH ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website or use our software. We've kept it short and direct, privacy is a feature of our product, not a paragraph at the bottom of a marketing site.
Axion SSH is a local-first desktop application. It does not phone home, does not stream your sessions to our servers, and does not transmit your credentials, hostnames, files, or commands anywhere. SSH and SFTP traffic goes directly from your machine to the host you connect to.
We never receive, store, or have access to your server passwords, passphrases, or private keys. Those live only in your operating system's secure keyring (Keychain on macOS, DPAPI on Windows, libsecret on Linux).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Waitlist data and support emails are stored with reputable infrastructure providers under industry-standard access controls. Email delivery is handled by transactional email providers solely for sending the messages you signed up to receive.
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or permanently delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Just send us an email at contact@axion-ssh.com and we'll take care of it.
You can also unsubscribe from any of our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every message we send.
Our marketing site does not set tracking cookies. The only cookies we use are essential ones required for the waitlist form to work (such as the CSRF token cookie). Fathom Analytics does not use cookies at all.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email before the change takes effect.
