Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases of Axion SSH license keys ("the Product"). Please read this policy carefully before completing a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

1. Non-refundable by default

All sales of Axion SSH licenses are final and non-refundable. Because a license key grants immediate access to the full functionality of the software and cannot be revoked or "returned" once delivered, we do not offer refunds as a matter of course once a purchase has been completed.

Before you buy, we strongly encourage you to review the product description, supported platforms, and feature list on our website to ensure Axion SSH fits your needs.

2. Discretionary exceptions

We understand that genuine issues can arise. In limited circumstances, we may, at our sole discretion, choose to issue a full or partial refund. Circumstances we typically consider include:

  • A duplicate or accidental purchase reported promptly.
  • A documented technical defect that we are unable to resolve and that materially prevents you from using the Product.
  • A purchase made by mistake on the wrong account or for the wrong product tier, where the license has not been activated or used.
  • Any other exceptional circumstance we agree, in good faith, warrants a refund.

Granting a refund in one case does not obligate us to do so in any other case. Refund decisions are final.

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at contact@axion-ssh.com within 14 days of your purchase. Please include:

  • The email address used at checkout.
  • The Polar order ID from your receipt.
  • A short description of the reason you are requesting a refund.

We aim to respond to refund requests within five business days. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method via our merchant of record (see below). Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refunded amount to appear on your statement.

4. Merchant of record

Payments for Axion SSH are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record for all orders. Polar handles billing, currency conversion, applicable sales taxes, and the disbursement of any approved refunds. Your card or bank statement will show a charge from Polar.

For refund requests, please contact us first at contact@axion-ssh.com — that's usually the fastest path. You can also reach Polar's buyer support through polar.sh/support to look up an order or raise a billing question.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a concern with a charge, please reach out to us before opening a chargeback or dispute with your bank. We are happy to investigate and, where appropriate, resolve the issue directly. Licenses associated with a chargeback or fraudulent payment may be revoked.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-waivable statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence (for example, certain rights under EU or UK consumer protection law for digital content). Where such rights apply, this policy should be read alongside them, not as a substitute for them.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. The policy that applies to a given purchase is the one in effect on the date the purchase was made.
